Welcome to Atlanta Academy Middle School.

The mission of The Atlanta Academy Middle School is to ensure that all students are obtaining knowledge while developing the necessary skills and proper work habits that will allow them to succeed in high school and beyond. High expectations for achievement, organization, creativity, self-discipline, and social responsibility are the cornerstones of the Middle School. It is our goal to instill in students the importance of taking responsibility for themselves in every aspect of their lives. In order to develop well-rounded students, a number of athletic and extracurricular activities are available to them.

The 2013 - 2014 school year marked the inaugural year for the Middle School House System. The main purpose of the House System is to foster in our students a sense of tradition, as well as to instill a feeling of responsibility for and ownership of their school community. The system will also enable us to be proactive in the development of each student's leadership skills. During a ceremony, students in grades 6 through 8 will be divided into three different Houses. Each House will have two faculty House Mentors. Houses collect points throughout the school year in a race to win the Gladiator Cup!
